Singer/ Songwriter music videos are usually very much based around the artist, so you expect most of the shots to be close ups of the artist and his/her instrument which is usually a guitar in this type of music, so you usually see close ups of the headstock of the artists guitar or the bridge or even sometimes the camera closely pans the guitar to show every part of it in detail.
