The results to my Questionnaire

These were the results to my Questionnaire questions given by 50 people asked:

1.) What can I do in my music video to make it different from previous ones?
     35 people said: Make an animation that reflects the lyrics of the song.
     10 people said: Take shots from a helicopter in a different country.
      5 people said: Go to a club and record everything you do then use it as footage.

2.) What range of colours should I use in my music video to make it stand out from others?
     43 people said: A bright range of colours because dark colours portray a sad mood.
      5 people said: Dark colours only, with a happy song, so you have a strange variation.
      2 people said: A mixture of bright and dark colours.

3.) What type of genre should my song be for my music video?
     47 people said: Singer/ Songwriter because then you can do your own song.
      3 people said: Dubstep, then the video can be on anything.

4.) What type of genre should I base my music video on?
     47 people said: Singer/ Songwriter but with a slight pop effect so you can do animation.
      3 people said: Pop, if your doing animation.

5.) Do you think its better to have music videos with a story, a live band performance or a certain concept e.g dancing or animation etc?
     33 people said: Story and concept.
     14 people said: Concept.
       3 people said: performance.

6.) Do you think its important that the pictures shown on the screen reflect the meaning of the lyrics within the song?
     40 people said: Yes.
     10 people said: No.

7.) How many people do you think should be considered as a main character within the video?
      39 people said: 3.
       7 people said: 2.
       4 people said: 1.

8.) Do you think selected words from each line of the lyrics should be displayed somewhere on the screen during each scene?
      46 people said: No, it would look a bit stupid if you do animation.
       2 people said: maybe, it depends on whether your animation explains the story clearly enough.
       2 people said: Yes, it would look genuinely awesome.

9.) Do you think songs with meaningful lyrics are better than songs with lyrics that don't really mean anything but sound good?
      49 people said: Yes, if they don't the songs more or less pointless unless its club or Dubstep.
       1 person said: No, some songs with meaningless lyrics are good, e.g Nicki Minaj songs.

10.) Is it essential to have real people in the video or can it be objects of some sort?
      31 people said: Not necessarily it depends on the type of video.
      10 people said: Objects on there own are quite cool, so they should be enough?
        9 people said: Yes, otherwise what are you going to do? it'll look weird without.
