What you can expect to see in a singer/ songwriter type of music video

Artists that fall under the category of 'Singer/ Songwriter' usually have very impressive songs, musically and lyrically, this is because they use things around them that they see or experience in everyday life or their past experiences to write a song and usually you find that they are from the countryside, so this music can be associated as 'Country' music as well. 

For example Ben Howard from Devon writes amazing songs with lyrics all based around his life in Devon, and he is so pure in a way because he still uses scenes from Devon in his music videos showing himself with his friends as the most important things then losing the sight of where you're from by making random music videos - This is what I love about him as an Artist. 

Same with Ed Sheeran who is a fabulous singer and all his songs may be about love but that's because he has all the experience of being homeless as well and he got to feel emotions that some of us will hopefully never feel which has inspired him to write those songs. 

You can expect to see bright colours and lively scenes including wildlife, daily life, naturalistic scenes (rivers, trees, fields etc). These Artists also tend to wear what ever they feel like wearing rather than what someone wants them to wear, this is why each and everyone of them have their own unique personality which cannot be changed.
